Lustre Flock Washed Combed Fibre Nests - 35g

£7.00

These fibre nests have been hand processed from raw locks/fleece, washed, hand combed and Diz’d into a slither, ready to spin or use in your fibre crafts.

This wool was grown on sheep that live at local Fernhill Farm as part of their Lustre Flock, so are incredibly soft with good staple length of 10cm+

You will receive nests in the photo.

These nests are the most lovely grey/brown tone. These have been hand diz’d through a 5.5mm Diz to create a good thickness of slither for spinning that will have variations, due to the hand processed nature.

Please note: these are a natural product with natural variations in colour and tone. There may be some small pieces of vegetation/hay etc present. Please remember this wool is natural from a sheep that has been outside in the fields (loving life).

Washed fleeces often still have a small amount of lanolin present so we recommend that you still hand wash your yarn after spinning your set the twist as well as serving as a second wash for the wool. Please contact if you’d like more details on this process.
