These fabulous batts have been hand processed by me from sheep to batt. They have been scoured and flick carded before being put through the drum carder ready to split into the lengths and spun.
This wool is local from Fernhill Farm near Bath/Bristol and weighs just over 100g.
Note: it still contains a small amount of lanolin but is the perfect tiny amount left in for spinning. You will likely find the last amount wash out when you set the twist.
The staple length is over 10cm and a stunning brown/fawn colour. With mixed tones. It is a dream to spin so wanted to make some available for others.
Please note to make these by hand take hours of work by hand to create these beautiful batts. The wool was washed using Fibre Scour containing Australian Tea Tree and Lemon Myrtle.
